Google Says Lockout Is Over, NHL Thinks Otherwise

Poor Google. It’s no secret that founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page love hockey. Maybe the team at Google really has high hopes negotiations between the NHL and the players. While we don’t care that much, Google seems to believe that it’s “game on” and the season will begin on Tuesday, January 15. According to the league a deal must be reached by next Friday in order for Google’s prediction to come true. That might be difficult if Gary Bettman keeps opening his mouth.
