Our Pick: Mad Men

Why It’s Going To Win: Because it’s going to set a record, and that makes headlines. I’m not saying the voting is rigged, but the show is just an old favorite. Breaking Bad would clearly win if Mad Men wasn’t sitting in the same category and if there wasn’t four other wins from Mad Men behind this nomination, it might have a better shot. As for the rest of the runners — they’re great shows but it’s hard to compare Broadwalk Empire (a really good show) to Breaking Bad or Mad Men (amazing shows). Both series have been showing growth in their characters, building up to something and that seems to win viewers and votes.
