Christian Bale and Nicholas Cage To Play Inventors

Last month I was reading a lot on the history of Nicholas Tesla, famous friend/foe of Thomas Edison. While most people know Edison, Tesla is the reason you can read this on a computer and not a stone tablet. I commented to a friend on how it’s crazy nobody has written a script on Tesla. Much like both Edison and Tesla had similar ideas at the same time, someone else had mine and has cast Christian Bale as Tesla and Nicholas Cage as Thomas Edison.

For what it’s worth, Edison will most likely be the villain based on history and facts which primarily paint Edison as a jealous mad man and Tesla as a genius who nobody took seriously until after his death.

It should also be noted the last time Tesla was portrayed on film was by David Bowie in the Christian Bale-starring The Prestige.

The movie is expected out in 2013, despite my version being likely better.
