This week, FOX announced that Terra Nova was done. After a single season and what’s up there as the most (or at least one of the most) expensive pilots ever made ($20-million) the network announced that the show wouldn’t be continuing for a second season. It’s not that suprising for a show that didn’t pull in the amount of ratings it should have based on the budget.
Now, Netflix has stepped forward and is in talks with 20th Century Fox (the studio that made the show) to discuss options of picking it up. 20th Century Fox is interested because if anyone picks up the show, they can continue distributing it internationally, which is where they’ve been making some money off the show.
